Cinnamon Swirl Protein Mug Cake


To top:

  • 1 tsp coconut sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • Glaze (optional) melted coconut butter + 1/2 tsp almond milk + pinch of cinnamon)


  1. Grease a microwave safe bowl/mug with coconut oil spray
  2. Add the protein powder, baking powder, coconut flour, cinnamon & mix well.
  3. Add the egg or flax egg and mix into the dry mixture.
  4. Add the milk of choice and vanilla extract (batter should be thick) 
  5. Transfer to microwave safe bowl/mug & top with coconut sugar + extra cinnamon and swirl over the top. 
  6. Microwave for 1 minute & 10 seconds
  7. Top with glaze and enjoy!
